AI Dashboard
The AI Dashboard gives Projetex administrators and Advanced users a read-only view of important agency signals.
Open it from the main navigation bar. The dashboard reads figures from your Projetex database through the Projetex API; it does not edit business data.
Who can use it
Section titled “Who can use it”The AI Dashboard is available to:
- Administrators
- Advanced users
Accounts with more restricted access do not see the dashboard because its panels contain company-wide figures.
Before you use the dashboard
Section titled “Before you use the dashboard”The Projetex API must be installed on the server machine and reachable from the workstation.
Projetex API connection details are configured under User Settings → AI and Projetex API. In a multi-workstation installation, each workstation connects to the API on the server over the local network.
The default Projetex API port is 8844.
The Ask feature also needs an AI credential. Projetex normally obtains that credential automatically from the AIT service using the current Projetex licence.
Key numbers
Section titled “Key numbers”The dashboard shows these headline indicators:
- Net cash (base) — client receivables less freelancer and corporate-expert payables.
- Overdue jobs — open jobs whose deadline has passed.
- Gross margin — gross margin for the selected period.
- Unassigned due soon — upcoming jobs that have not yet been assigned.
Dashboard panels
Section titled “Dashboard panels”The current dashboard includes:
- Cash position — receivables and payables by age.
- Delivery risk — open jobs by deadline and assignment state.
- Client health — revenue concentration and client payment/activity signals.
- Margin — margin contribution by clients and projects.
- Capacity & vendors — current freelancer and corporate-expert workload.
- Language-pair coverage — demand and available delivery capacity by language pair.
Amounts are shown in the company’s base currency.
Work with the board
Section titled “Work with the board”You can:
- click supported figures or chart items to open the underlying Projetex list;
- right-click a chart to change its chart type;
- drag panels to rearrange the board;
- show or hide panels;
- reset the layout;
- refresh the figures.
Projetex remembers the dashboard arrangement.
Date filter
Section titled “Date filter”The global date filter on the ribbon changes the period used by the dashboard. When no explicit filter is active, the dashboard uses its default rolling period.
Changing the global date filter also resets the current Ask conversation so follow-up questions cannot accidentally mix periods.
If a panel does not load
Section titled “If a panel does not load”Panels fail independently. One unavailable panel does not prevent other panels or Ask from working.
Common causes include:
- the Projetex API is not running;
- the workstation cannot reach the server API;
- the configured API address or key is incorrect.
