Roles and Access Rights

Projetex uses Access Roles and per-user access rights to control what a user can see and do.

Access Roles

The current Access Roles list stores reusable role definitions.

An access-role editor includes:

position;
access rights;
options such as Show AHC data;
View Corporate Settings;
Local Reports;
Export;
Print.

Apply rights to a user

The user editor has a Role & Rights area and a Copy from Access Role action.

Use a role as the starting point for a user’s permissions, then review the resulting access rights before the account is used.

The user editor also exposes a Server Administrator option separately from ordinary access rights.
