Freelancer POs and Payments
Projetex uses purchase orders (POs) and payments to track amounts owed and paid to freelancers.
Freelancer POs
Section titled “Freelancer POs”The current PO list can show:
- PO code and global PO code;
- date sent and due date;
- freelancer, project and project manager;
- jobs total, PO total, paid amount and base-currency totals;
- currency and exchange rate;
- discounts and taxes;
- status, date paid and freelancer invoice information.
Available list actions include Mass POs and total calculation.
Edit a PO
Section titled “Edit a PO”A PO contains Freelance Jobs. The PO editor can add, remove or edit jobs and displays linked payment information.
When a PO is Approved, its jobs are locked. The current UI also reports that PO items are locked after payments have started.
The PO record can also store the freelancer invoice date/code and whether the expert invoice was received.
Freelancer payments
Section titled “Freelancer payments”Freelancer payment records include expert name, code, payment date, total paid, linked amount, currency and exchange rate.
The payment editor links payments to POs and provides Auto-Link, New Link, Edit and Delete actions. After a payment is linked with POs, its value is locked.
