TO3000 API
The TO3000 API is a companion service installed with TO3000. The AI Dashboard and Ask use it to read analytics from the local TO3000 environment.
The rest of TO3000 does not depend on the API service for normal project-management work.
Local endpoint
Section titled “Local endpoint”Current TO3000 builds use the default endpoint:
http://127.0.0.1:8845This is a loopback address. Normal TO3000 use does not require you to expose the API to your network or open inbound firewall access for port 8845.
Projetex uses a different default port, so both products can coexist on the same computer.
Setup and configuration
Section titled “Setup and configuration”TO3000 Setup installs the companion API as part of the product installation.
For a normal TO3000 installation, endpoint and authentication setup are handled by the product. You should not need to enter an API address or key just to use the Dashboard.
What the API does
Section titled “What the API does”The local API supplies analytics results used by:
Dashboard analytics stay read-only.
When Ask needs an online AI service, TO3000 applies its own consent and AI-access flow on top of the local analytics data.
If the Dashboard or Ask cannot reach the API
Section titled “If the Dashboard or Ask cannot reach the API”- Restart TO3000. Startup normally ensures the local companion service is available.
- Check whether another application is already using TCP port 8845.
- Confirm that local security software is not blocking loopback communication.
- Collect the current logs if the problem continues:
